Daniil Medvedev dropped out in the first circle of Roland Garros. He lost to Cameron Norri - 5:7, 3:6, 6:4, 6:1, 5:7. In the first set, Medvedev did not submit to the party, leading 5:4, and in the decisive set he did not submit to the match.
Norri beat Medvedev for the first time in five personal meetings, the last time they met three weeks ago in Rome, and Medvedev won two sets.
Medvedev, the sixth time in his career, dropped out at the start of Roland Garros. Previously, this happened from 2017 to 2020 and in 2023.
